The Family Table Project Receives $5,000 Grant from Citizens Bank to Strengthen Connection in Southwestern New Hampshire

Keene, NH — The Family Table Project is grateful to announce the receipt of a $5,000 community grant from Citizens Bank in support of its work addressing food insecurity and strengthening community connection across Southwestern New Hampshire.

The grant will directly support the Family Table Project’s neighborhood-based distribution efforts, including micro-distribution centers located within trusted community spaces such as schools and partner sites. These centers ensure that children and families have consistent access to nutritious food while also creating pathways to broader relational and practical support.

“We are deeply grateful for Citizens Bank’s investment in our local community,” said Scott Masters, Executive Director of the Family Table Project. “This partnership is about more than financial support. It represents a shared belief that when we meet families where they are — with dignity, consistency, and care — we build stronger communities for everyone.”

Hunger and economic strain continue to impact families throughout the region, often in ways that remain unseen. By embedding food access within community hubs, the Family Table Project reduces barriers to assistance and fosters meaningful connection. The $5,000 grant will help sustain food purchasing, volunteer coordination, and the operational needs required to keep distribution responsive and relationship-centered.

Citizens Bank’s commitment to community investment reflects its broader mission to strengthen the neighborhoods it serves. Through partnerships like this, local organizations are able to respond more effectively to urgent needs while building long-term stability.

The Family Table Project is a community-based nonprofit organization serving children and families across Southwestern New Hampshire. Grounded in relationship-centered care, the organization addresses food and economic insecurity as entry points to connection, stability, and long-term support.
